Welcome to Affordable Vet Care – As of 3/23 I have transitioned to a semi-retired, part time, home based hobby business. My hours are a bit variable with surgeries on Mondays and Thursdays AND

Exams done Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons AND

Walk in vaccinations Mondays and Thursdays 12 – 4.

Next vaccine clinic – Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 9 – 12 at the American Legion – 317 South Howard Street. NO credit/debit cards will be accepted, cash only. DHLPP $30, DHPP $25, FVRCP $25, FELV $30, Rabies $25, Bordetella $25, deworming $20 – $35, microchips $40, BRAVECTO $75 for dogs and $65 for cats

I may be the vet for you, if:

·         You have realistic expectations for care that can be done in your house (house call) or mine (surgery/exam room set up in an RV at my home).

·         You do not need emergent care for your pet and your pet has an issue that we can pretty much resolve the day of the appointment (treat em and street em as they say in human medicine). I don’t work every day and can’t take cases that flow into the next day as I may not be working the next day.

·         You are familiar with my style of medicine – blunt, to the point and tell it like it is

·         You love your pet and he/she is exactly that – your pet.  If you prefer your pet to be medically treated as your child, you should seek assistance elsewhere where numerous diagnostics can be run. I became a veterinarian to treat pets. If you have a pet that has morphed into your child, I am NOT the veterinarian for you.

·         You can pay in cash or (check if previous client). Credit cards will no longer be accepted.

·         You are interested in mass vaccination clinics that will happen every few months or so in Moscow.   

·         You would rather support your veterinarian than Walmart, Chewey or Costco for pharmaceuticals
