Welcome to Affordable Vet Care!

It has been 3½ years (2023) since I transitioned my practice to a small, part-time, home-based veterinary practice, allowing me to continue caring for pets while enjoying a more relaxed pace of practice. As I get older, my practice continues to evolve as well.

Below is a list of the services I am currently able to provide from my RV clinic:

  • Wellness examinations
  • Ear and eye problems
  • Itchy skin and allergies
  • lameness
  • Wound care
  • Evaluation of growths and lumps
  • Cat spays and neuters
  • Feral/barn cat alterations
  • Dog neuters
  • Uncomplicated dental cleanings

Please note: I am no longer equipped to see pets that are “sick” and require diagnostic work such as blood work, X-rays, ultrasound, or other extensive testing. If your pet is ill and needs diagnostics to determine the cause of the problem, please contact a full-service veterinary hospital. Viking Veterinary on Rodeo Drive in Moscow is open 24/7

Hours: My regular clinic days are Monday and Thursday, although I may be able to accommodate other days or times when needed. Just ask!

Walk in vaccinations are Mondays and Thursdays 12 – 4 in Viola.

Please call/text/email before heading out to be sure I am home. Email is the best way to contact me avcsnc@gmail.com and then the auto response will have my address

My cell phone is 509-338-0118

I may be the vet for you, if:

·         You have realistic expectations for care that can be done in your house (house call) or mine (surgery/exam room set up in an RV at my home).

·         You do not need emergent care for your pet and your pet has an issue that we can pretty much resolve the day of the appointment (treat em and street em as they say in human medicine). I don’t work every day and can’t take cases that flow into the next day as I don’t work every day.

·         You are familiar with my style of medicine – blunt, to the point and tell it like it is

·         You love your pet—and he or she is exactly that: your pet. I became a veterinarian to treat animals—not to practice human medicine on four legs. If your pet has morphed into your child, I am NOT the veterinarian for you.

·         You can pay in cash or check. I do not accept debit or credit cards.

·         You are interested in mass vaccination clinics that happen 5x a year in Moscow, at the American Legion —  January, April, June, August and November.

·         Online Pharmacies: I do not work with online pharmacies. I work mostly by myself, and the additional paperwork, phone calls, and coordination required are simply not practical for my small practice. I am happy to provide prescriptions that I MAIL directly to my clients.

You may email me at  avcsnc@gmail.com to be on my email list and keep abreast of upcoming events.
